Leidos has a career opportunity for a Citrix VDI Engineer based in Stuttgart, Germany.

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
Are you interested in continuing your career in EUCOM in a mission focused environment? Leidos Defense Group has established and upcoming positions throughout the European theater supporting multiple customers for the Department of Defense. We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement EUCOM's mission objectives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:
•Provide technical team leadership, as a Subject Matter Expert – SME.
•Manage team members with regard to personnel guidance, setting team and personnel goals, and managing time cards.
•Develop, maintain and update Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops environments.
•Develop, maintain, upgrade, patch and secure Microsoft Windows desktop environments in multiple Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environments.  
•Expertise operating and maintaining Citrix infrastructure (PVS, DDC, StoreFront servers, etc.)
•Maintain Microsoft Windows systems within DoD environments requirement.
•Manage a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure environment and/or preparing master Operating System images for deployment.
•Develop and implement technical standards (SOP, TTP, implementation instructions, other required documentation) and monitor processes for information systems.  
•Collaborate and liaise with other teams within the organization as well as VDI team members to identify, track, and report on opportunities for system optimization, methods to drive efficiency, identify and reduce error rates, and empirically document customer experience.
•Work with colleagues to drive innovation and communicate capabilities to fellow team members, colleagues, management, and customer leadership.  
•Maintain high service availability by liaising with many stakeholders to identify risk and threats to the delivery of VDI services
•Rapidly identify and correct faults impacting service delivery
•Demonstrate the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams for coordination and trouble shooting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience
•Must have an active IAT DoD 8570 Level II certification (Sec+, etc.)
•Must have a Citrix Certified Associate certification (CCA-V). 
•Strong background / experience with Microsoft Windows desktop Operating Systems.
•Experience with Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
•Knowledge of DoD IA/Cybersecurity and IT regulations and guidance.
•Demonstrated background troubleshooting complex IT issues.
•Excellent verbal and written communications skills
•Currently hold an active Secret security Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Citrix Certified Professional-Virtualization (CCP-V) preferred.
•Experience with VDI deployments, specifically Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, is desirable. 
•Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
•Experience in the evaluation and integration of new technologies into existing environments.
