Job Description:

Leidos is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) to support the National Ground Intelligence Center. The Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) will work with the Government Division Senior Intelligence Analyst, Branch Chiefs, and other designated Government Employees to determine what Digital Production (DP) products will be written by contract staff with reasonable suspenses.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs initial review of all contractors analytical design worksheets (ADW), or other like worksheets designated by the Government, and participate in ADW review, meetings with analysts and Division SIA or Government Branch Chiefs or other Government designees.

  • Supports analysts in the use of tools such as SATs, Quantitative methods, and Qualitative Methods to ensure rigor and objectivity of analysis.

  • Tracks the progress of all contractor DP products and ensure that the Division SIA, Government Branch Chiefs or other Government designee, are aware of any potential to miss deadlines.

  • Provides training for new and existing contract analysts expected to produce all source DP assessments in support of the NGIC Identity Intelligence Division.

  • Functions as a technical representative to Division SIA, Government Branch Chiefs and other Government designees for questions related to tradecraft and assessment production as needed.

  • Conducts analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.

  • Provides all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.

  • Oversees all contract workforce DIAP formal production.

  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of Intelligence Analytical Standards/Tradecraft.

  • Mentors intelligence analysts.

  • Demonstrates understanding of NGIC production process, tools and writing style.

  • Demonstrates expertise in structured analytical techniques.

  • Demonstrates SIA attributes, including clear, clean writing and editing.

  • Verifies ICD 203 adherence.

  • Ensures analytic rigor, appropriate portion markings & complete citations.

  • Liaison to Branch Chiefs, Division SIA and Branch Senior Analysts.

  • Reviews all contractor DP products in advance of the initial government branch level review.

Qualifications:

  • Experience and Education: Masters degree with 12 years of relevant experience or bachelors degree with 17 years of relevant experience.

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.

  • Understanding of NGIC production process, tools and writing style.

  • Special Skills and Qualifications - Former MOS 35L, 35M, 351L/M, 97B, 97E, 35E, or civilian 1811/0132 (equivalent to GG-13 level) OR other DoD/Joint service equivalent specialty codes such as 18F = SF INTEL NCO or 180A SF WO with ASOT-III, or USAF 7XOS1 – Special Investigator (SI) or 1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist. However, on a case-by-case basis, a badged and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with at least 10+ years of experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/or Federal Law Enforcement Agency is acceptable.

Senior Intelligence Analyst (SIA) review of assessments, will include, but not be limited to:

  • Basic Grammar and clarity of the assessment

  • Detailed review of the Analytic Tradecraft Standards

  • All components of the NGIC product Review guide

  • Assessment of the degree to which the assessment answers customer needs/questions

  • Accurate classification

  • Mandatory citation fields

  • Appropriate metadata in Digital Production website
