The Leidos Commercial Energy Solutions Operation team is looking for a tenacious, self-starting Office Manager/Administrative Assistant in our Framingham, MA office. This position will be for a temporary contract worker to support for a period of 6 months, with a potential to convert to a permanent position.
In this dynamic role, you will engage with project leads, program administrators and team members, as well as many of our technical staff members. You will support facility oversite with property management, office IT and HR issues, newly hired/onboarding and departing/terminated employees, as well as conference scheduling and mail management. You will prepare monthly construction reports, expense reports, invoice cover letters, technical documents, and other ad hoc reports, managing multiple drafts and templates. You will format, edit and proofread using standard templates, and finalizer reports when done. You will create data management sites using Box. You will coordinate calendars and schedule travel, undertake special projects, and assist in project set-up and attend project team meetings. You will tackle some of the fun things too, such as the organization of office team building and charity events and greeting visitors. - Ideally, you will have a HS diploma or GED equivalent and 3-5 years of relevant experience…an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in English, Business, Accounting or other discipline would be a plus!
- You should be able to work in fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment, all while maintaining a positive and proactive outlook.
- An extremely strong background in MS Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) is a must, and knowledge of Project Wise would be a plus.
- An extremely strong background in proofreading, grammar and formatting
- Your strong analytical and communication skills will allow you to sort through complex documentation, and your ability to work independently with minimal guidance and oversight and anticipate upcoming project support needs, will serve the team well.
