More About the Role:
The NGEN-R SMIT NMCI Global Logistics team has openings for Logistics Coordinators to coordinate, oversee and manage Hardware and Software licenses and vendor maintenance and support agreement renewals. 

Logistics Coordinators integrate the spectrum of the logistics processes within the operational, acquisition and wholesale environments.  Logistics Coordinator are responsible for directing the integrated logistics process, developing support policies, procedures and systems, and providing implementation guidance.

Logistics Coordinator prepares and implements directives to ensure effective logistics support, and establishes and enforces standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped.  It is the Logistics Coordinator's duty to develop, initiate, integrate and manage all logistics actions associated with life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems and equipment.

What You'll Get to Do:
•Managing financial/procurement planning workbooks for base software licenses and Vendor Maintenance Agreements.
•Working with finance to ensure that software expenses are forecasted accurately; as well as calculating monthly true-up expense accruals.
•Working with finance to address monthly close issues; risk and opportunity planning; cost savings; and related planning activities.
•Supporting the procurement team in creating requests for quote, sourcing justifications, and Asset Management update requests. 
•Reviewing quotes for accuracy and pricing; address issues such as SKU/Part Number or support changes.
•Coordinating OEM custodial forms and ensuring Letters of Authorizations (LOAs) are in place for accurate and timely PO issuance.
•Providing support/issues resolution for Compliance, Goods Receiving/e-deliveries, supplier invoicing and client invoicing.
•Coordinating client invoicing data related to new business procurements, including redacting of PO’s and e-deliveries.
•Conducting or participating in scheduled and ad hoc meetings to review, adjudicate or status procurement actions and issues.
•Working with procurement and contracts for creation of plans for complex contract extensions and transitions, including creating vendor communication plans.
•Supporting new business, including proposal and pricing reviews.
•Calculating seat counts on a monthly basis for license compliance and utilization tracking.
•Coordinating with Asset Management to document coverages and license details.
•Position may supervise others.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
-Requires a B.A. Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Ability to work with minimal supervision and make informed decisions.
•Prior experience with managing supplier support requirements.
•Prior experience managing software licenses.
