The Leidos Intelligence Group has a career opportunity for an experienced Software Engineer/Developer on our large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large collection systems. The work that's being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies. The Software Engineer will be responsible for providing full software life-cycle support for incremental software functionality, web/graphic user interface development, and database support. In this role the software engineer will work with the full development stack. The engineer should be self-motivated, enjoy working directly with the customer and with the end-users and value high quality software.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
Five (5) years of software development lifecycle experience (BS in CS will count for 2 YoE, this only applies to CS degrees).
Three (3) years of Java software development experience minimum
Angular experience (will be used for GUI)
Experience with Agile development methodology
- Spring Framework
- Web or REST services
- MAVEN experience
- Experience with application servers (Tomcat preferred)
- Familiar with Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo)
- Test frameworks (JUnit)
