Leidos is searching for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team of qualified program financial analysts in support of the MSASS (CDMRP) Program, a highly visible program under the Life Sciences Portfolio under the GH&SS Operation in Frederick, MD.
Will participate in the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting on projects. Will assist with and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. Manages projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
Working within a team of three analysts under the Life Sciences Portfolio, this position requires working on a large IDIQ program with over 50 active task orders with significant interface with Program Manager/TO Managers, Contracts, FP&A, and other Support organizations on tasks that include tracking/analyzing costs, month end status and Estimate to Complete (ETC) updates, developing proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOE), planning and forecasting, and pricing scenarios. Establishes and maintains cost/schedule baselines, develops WBS and related dictionaries, develops schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLNs), budgets, and has a complete understanding of related financial policies. The primary contract type is CPFF. Implements financial policies and procedures in support of the program. Understands schedule critical path and performs related analyses. Must be detailed oriented. Provides data and reporting formats for all types and levels of program reviews. Prepares written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline plus 4 years related experience. Basic knowledge of multiple contract types: FFP, FPLOE, T&M, Cost Plus and hybrid contracts. Has the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs supporting. Analytical, communication and presentations skills needed as well as being able to operate independently.
Knowledge of Leidos financial systems such as Cost Point and OBI. Ability to work independently or team environment.
