Leidos is seeking a Information Assurance/System Security Architect for a position as part of a team supporting the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) in either Pensacola, FL or Fort Meade, MD. This is a full time position that will be telework friendly, but must be able to be on site in Pensacola, FL or Fort Meade, MD when needed.
The Information Assurance System Security Architect provides oversite and hands on participation in the DISA RMF and FedRAMP Authorization process for the UCSA Information Systems (IS). These systems are operating in a cloud environment at the Impact Level 5 ( IL-5).
Development of System Security Plans.
Expertise and participation in Information Systems (IS) vulnerability testing and analysis.
Hands-on remediation actions: patching and development of POA&Ms.
Assembly of the Authorization Packages and submission of the packages to the DISA AO.
Continuous monitoring of the authorized ISs.
Updates, as required, of the DISA Cybersecurity Policy documentation and alignment of the cybersecurity protection products with evolving recommendations of DoDI 8570, NIST and FedRAMP
Works with the system cloud engineer and architect to ensure that the DISA ISs are functional and secure.
Provides Cybersecurity monitoring capability for on premise systems.
Utilizes experience and judgment to plan and accomplish enclave security related goals, both Datacenter and Cloud based.
Supports system and network security either in multiple data centers or Virtual data centers.
As requires, reports to a DISA AO and senior management the cybersecurity issues.
Bachelor's of Art or Bachelor's of Science in a technical discipline; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated expertise in Federal Government Network Management is absolutely necessary.
Experience in designing security mechanisms in cloud networks.
Qualified IA personnel IAW DoD 8570/DoD 8140, minimum IAT II.
Active Secret Clearance Required with ability to obtain a Top Secret
Must be a US Citizen.
Experience with DISA Network Enclaves
Experience with AWS/GovCloud
