The Associate Business Analyst is a role within the SD&A Services team with a focus on Customer Experience and Analytics. Reporting to the Manager of Global Business Analytics for SD&A Services, this role will primarily be responsible for compiling and maintaining a global database of the SD&A install base. Additionally, this role is expected to:
Partner with internal teams to develop new processes that improve the efficiency, reproducibility, and/or scalability of reports
Manage new moderately complex reporting requests with little information
Arrange meetings with stakeholders, elicit business requirements and generate and distribute reports
As an Analyst you would also be responsible for supporting the production of custom analyses or new insights for strategic customers and operational reporting.
NOTE: Telecommuting is an option so long as you can commute to our Tewksbury, MA or St. Petersburg, FL office location for meetings.
Develop tools and dashboards to facilitate business processes and increase productivity.
Establish and maintain a global install base of SD&A equipment.
Analyze large quantities of data to look for key attributes and trends.
Develop new processes that improve the efficiency, reproducibility, and/or scalability of reports.
Complete validation on collected data.
Develop and document reports or analyses.
Support initiatives for data integrity and governance
Manage new moderately complex reporting requests with little information, arranging meetings with stakeholders, gather business requirements and generate and distribute reports.
Support the production of custom analyses or new insights for strategic customers and operational reporting.
Effectively organize data in tabular, graphical and summary fashion for presentation to all levels of management as well as various other stakeholders.
Gain familiarity with internal tools used at Leidos for analytics purposes.
Assist in development or improvement of operational reporting.
Take ownership of existing reports and manually update data and perform reporting enhancements requests.
Shadow and understand change management processes for various development tools.
Contribute to cross-functional projects and work streams to support internal teams.
Work with direct management to prioritize business and information needs
Map business workflows and continue documentation efforts as workflows evolve.
Collaborate with data insights and data products to overcome obstacles needed for pushing forward automation efforts.

Requires a Bachelors degree and 1-2 years of related experience in reporting/analytics. 7 years experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office and SharePoint
Strong proficiency with MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Macros, Pivot Tables, PowerQuery)
Strong proficiency with MS Power BI
Ability to pull and join data from multiple data sources, analyze, develop initial insights and format for professional presentation.
SQL experience: intermediate level (additional programming experience a plus. E.g. SAS, Python, R)
Comfort with ambiguity and fast paced, changing environment.
Has or can receive a security clearance to work with sensitive US government data
Past experience working in the security detection industry
Experience working in a global, large-scale services organization
Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning
Experience with Siebel CRM
Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud and Oracle Visualizer
Experience with Cognos
Experience with Toad Data Point and Toad Intelligence Central
