Job Description:

The Leidos Innovations Center currently has a temporary opening for a Confluence/Jira developer to support our Beavercreek, OH office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your talents and experience to help the Skyborg System Design Agent (SDA) Team’s mission to develop the autonomous aircraft control systems for a U.S. Air Force customer. This position is expected to create and deploy the Skyborg Program’s end user trouble reporting processes and associated systems for routing, tracking, and archiving trouble tickets related to the autonomous system, as well as a self-service capability for end-users. This position will be responsible for establishing metrics and past performance data for SDA teams review to provide timely responses to end users across multiple teams of varying expertise due to the complex nature of these system integrations.

The work is primarily located in Dayton, OH.  However, working remotely from the Arlington, VA or Huntsville, AL Leidos offices is possible with occasional travel to Dayton, OH.


Primary Responsibilities

The Confluence/Jira Developer is responsible for developing and deploying a Service Desk/Trouble Report/End User Self-Support system for the Skyborg Program. This role will leverage the government’s existing DI2E implementation of with Confluence and Jira.  This role will create the vital bridge between the technical expertise of the Autonomy and Integration teams and the end users who rely on the autonomous control systems to command their autonomous aircraft.  This temporary position is expected to require 3-4 months of FTE effort.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as contract/program requirements dictate.


Basic Qualifications

-    BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
-    Four years of relevant experience
-    At least two years of experience managing Confluence/Jira
-    Demonstrated experience developing Confluence/Jira-based solutions 
-    U.S. Citizen
-    Eligible for DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications
 
-    Eight years of relevant experience, or an MS with six years of experience
-    Experience creating/deploying a Service Desk/Customer Support capability within Confluence/Jira
-    Experience with DI2E Confluence/Jira implementations
-    Current DoD Secret clearance
