More About the Role:
The SMIT Global Logistics team has an opening for Logistics Coordinators to support the management of Leidos operated Government Furnished Facilities and maintenance of non-IT assets. The individual(s) will support the Logistics Manager, Facilities, in assigned aspects of the enterprise facilities and non-IT asset environment, to include reviewing of financials for the base contract as well as for required true-ups.
This position focuses on fostering relationships with the customer, non-IT asset OEM/suppliers, cross-functional internal teams, along with new business/proposal requirements. Lead and support the creation of processes with Logistics, and Asset Management cross-functional teams to ensure the processes, activities, and procedures configured with registration and access controls, and privileges associated with tracking, issuance, and management of facilities and non-IT asset maintenance and tracking. Requires strong facilities management and maintenance acumen.
What You'll Get to Do:
•Receiving and distributing information on non-IT asset maintenance VMAs.
•Oversight of subcontractor work.
•Performing audits to ensure appropriate coverage of asset maintenance.
•Maintaining project status information and status accounting records and reports.
•Reviewing. maintaining and reconciling databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware.
•Working with the Manager and with finance to ensure that expenses are forecasted accurately; as well as calculate monthly accruals.
•Working with finance to address monthly close issues; risk and opportunity planning; and, cost savings.
•Creating procurement plans for complex contract modifications.
•Supporting new business, including proposal and pricing reviews.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
-BA degree and 8–12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
•Prior experience with managing facilities and non-IT maintenance.
