Key Capabilities:

Leidos has an immediate need for a Project Management Analyst to support the NNSA Office of Defense Programs (NA-10).  This position provides direct support for NA-10 Human Capital and Business Operations (HCBO) in the area of office logistics.

This is a full-time position located in the NNSA offices at the Department of Energy Forrestal Building in Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assess workflow and identify personnel space requirements for NA-10 office floorplans in Forrestal and Germantown locations. Advise management on available seating per month as well as seating changes for staff members. 

  • Participate in high-level meetings with the Principal Assistant Deputy Administrator (PADA), ADA, Executive Director’s and other NNSA Executive staff to discuss long term strategic planning for all office logistical activities. 

  • Plan, manage, integrate, and coordinate all space requirements for personnel and manage all construction projects.  Manage entire lifecycle of projects including oversight of staff and project budget, providing subject area expertise, overseeing the development of sophisticated data analyses, and presenting results to senior management.

  • Monitor progress of large complex projects through review of programming documents and process analysis reports. Provide program guidance, conformance with criteria, and compliance with policies and procedures.

  • Generate operating improvements and techniques through use of manual and automated systems, procedures, methods and techniques to assure the most economical and efficient system for relocating large collections of records, equipment, and staff.

  • Design action plans for reorganization/realignment of office logistical programs and staff functions. Assess organizational effectiveness and generate proposals for short and long-range space management plans, goals and objectives.

  • Develop operation strategies for wide variety of solutions, selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific NA-10 requirements in adapting to new nuclear safety laws, regulations, and policies.

  • Foster effective communications with external stakeholders to gather business needs and provide information-specific support to NA-10. Provide advice on appropriate services to satisfy nuclear safety needs.

  • Coordinate with internal project team as well as external points of contacts to ensure effective project coordination and uninterrupted communication and status updates for the stakeholders including senior management.

  • Maintain NA-10 Logistics SharePoint portal to process and track electronically all logistics requests securely and in an efficient and timely manner for  customer relationship and workflow management. 

  • Analyze space needs on proposed initiatives, staff changes, and technology improvements to design office layouts, scheduling alterations and repairs, overseeing building renovations, and directing the relocation of offices to new space. 

  • Generate and distribute administrative procedures and policies to advance NNSA mission in spectrum management, internet policy, and methods for achieving broadband deployment and adoption.

  • Perform program development and implementation of design standards and updates of office condition assessments. Provided long-range planning to support the office sustainability goals. Provided technical and administrative input on project/program design criteria.

Required education and qualifications:

  • Active DOE “Q” or DOD Top Secret clearance. 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of prior relevant experience. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and general understanding and use of web-based communication systems.  Experience using SharePoint/Vector sites.

  • Ability to extract data and information from staff, reports, and automated systems. 

  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex ideas in writing and draw basic conclusions; communicate clearly, in writing and verbally.

  • Excellent organizational skills including the ability to multi-task and attend to details.

  • Experience with DOE/NNSA

  • Office logistics experience

  • More than 4 years of experience
