PROGRAM SUMMARY:

Leidos was recently awarded the GxNEXT (Follow on to GEOAxIS) contract to provide online, on-demand access to GEOINT content, services, expertise, and support, based upon the user’s known/trusted identity and authoritative attributes/roles. Provides Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) services for the customer’s enterprise, as well others in within the DoD organization.   Also provided are five main cyber-relevant services: Authentication (AuthN); Authorization (AuthZ); Digital Policy Management (DPM); Entitlement Management (EM); and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA). Supports the enterprise’s entire ICAM lifecycle, including the maintenance and sustainment of the current operational environments, agile development of new capabilities/ enhancements, integration support, and consumer integration and experience efforts promoting the adoption of ICAM services.

Leidos is seeking qualified candidates for a Test Engineer for a position in the Chantilly, VA or Gaithersburg, MD office. This position requires an active TS/SCI in order to be considered. The successful candidate will support our customer’s mission by thoroughly testing and verifying a variety of Enterprise Identity and Access Management (IdAM) functionalities and enhancements.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Perform functional, system integration, exploratory, performance, smoke, and regression testing on the UI and API for a variety of capabilities.

  • Test SOAP and REST APIs using SoapUI

  • Update and maintain SoapUI projects that are used for testing

  • Create, update, and review detailed manual test procedures that are delivered to the customer

  • Work with developers and other members of the test team to develop the test procedure updates

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V), executing and demonstrating test procedures in front of customer witnesses

  • Work closely with other members of the test team to ensure team goals are reached

  • Work with developers to identify and resolve discrepancies found during testing

  • Maintain close collaboration with System Engineers to verify system functionality against requirements

  • Update and review the Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM)

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: 

  • Experience testing SOAP and REST APIs using SoapUI or a similar tool

  • Experience creating, updating, and reviewing step-by-step test procedures

  • Experience working with developers to identify and resolve discrepancies found during testing

  • Experience working in a team environment and working independently, self-motivated

  • Strong, effective, and professional communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Requires BS and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of degree.

HOW YOU CAN STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD:

  • Experience with agile development methodologies

  • Experience working with Linux

  • Experience with test automation tool implementation such as Selenium and Cucumber

  • Experience with maintaining test automation scripts

  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
