The Cyber and SIGINT Solutions Operation under the Intelligence Group of Leidos is seeking an experienced Documentation Specialist for a program in San Diego, CA.

PROGRAM SUMMARY: Product development includes tactical mobile development as well as enterprise web application development.  The portfolio of products support the Cybersecurity and Information Assurance domains.  These systems deploy a variety of technologies and communicate with infrastructure interfaces to bring secure, modern-day Cybersecurity and Cryptographic Key Management solutions to the warfighter.

Primary Responsibilities

Leidos is looking to fill a Sr. Documentation Specialist role across a portfolio of cybersecurity-related projects.  In this dynamic role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for providing program and project documentation support across a portfolio of projects related to cryptographic key management and information assurance.  The candidate will routinely work with project managers, development staff and engineers, and have routine exposure with the Government customer and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

Education: BA or BS and 4 – 8  years of experience providing program and technical project documentation support across management teams.

  • Being a key part of the project’s quality assurance processes

  • Collecting and accumulating appropriate technical information through researching and analyzing technical data and publications, engineering drawings, test procedures, design specifications/documentation, software description documents, engineering documents and by interviewing technical experts.

  • Ensuring documents are developed in accordance with the requested specifications and contractual requirements

  • Ensuring final materials clearly and effectively communicate the technical information and data.

  • Collecting and maintaining documents & records of the latest revision level.

  • Recommending new and/or modifications to documentation/communication policies and procedures.

  • Supporting the documentation processes, including the creation and execution of Change Control(s)

  • Ensuring proper document classification, sorting, filing and proper archiving

  • Reviewing completeness of documentation and preparing document transmittals

  • Coordinating with Graphic Artists to get new or updated graphics scheduled for completion

  • Hold an active secret clearance

  • Extremely organized and detail oriented

  • Leadership and problem-solving skills; the ability to take charge when necessary and also evaluate situations and determine the proper course of action

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Comfortable interacting with customers and stakeholders

  • Superb time management

  • Proficient with MS Word and PowerPoint

Preferred:

  • Familiar with Key Management Domain concepts

  • Familiar with agile software development methodologies and tools

  • Has a general understanding of industry practices and standards
