Job Description:

The Leidos Defense Group has open position for an RFM Support Professional This position is part of our IA team to support our RMF packages as well as Security Impact Analysis for the enterprise. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • List daily duties and/or specific job responsibilities. 

  • Run and review ACAS scans, SCAP scans and manually validating STIG checklists.

  • Consider and identify impacts as well as consideration of existing risk mitigation strategies.

  • Developing Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) based on the assessment results.

  • Ensure traceability of all vulnerabilities from raw assessment results to the POA&M.

  • Ability to work effectively independently as well as within a team environment.

  • Strong technical experience, review and update network diagrams, submit firewall change requests.

  • Preparation of the Security Assessment Plans for self-assessments.

  • Complete security control validation and self-assessment of a system or network to address known threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Conducting required vulnerability analysis to support mitigation and residual risk determination.

  • Supporting the continuous monitoring program as necessary when Information System Continuous Monitoring (ISCM) results will be used to support continuing authorization requirements or ongoing authorizations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8 or more years’ experience; or equivalent work experience. Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Experience the following technologies: eMASS, RMF, ACAS, HBSS, STIG Viewer and STIG auditing. 

  • Experience creating Plan of Action and Milestones, POA&Ms. 

  • Experienced in evaluating security controls and compliance on a variety of hardware and software systems.

  • Expert with RMF authorization packages.

  • Experience in all steps of the RMF process.

  • Experience with writing SSPs.

  • Proficiency with Excel.

  • Be able to brief status to leadership.

  • CompTIA Security+.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to address and assess RMF Security Controls.
