The Leidos Civil Treasury team is recruiting for a Project Manager to our customer in the Washington, DC a

The GSOC Project Manager will support the GSOC Program Manager in a subordinate role to help provide strategic technical direction and lead teams in a project responsible for performing the following:

  • Prevention or Proactive Measures: Outreach and Awareness, Security Notification, and Infrastructure Security;
  • Detection: Firewalls, Network-based Intrusion Detection, Host-based Intrusion Detection, Internet Misuse Monitoring, Log File Analysis, Packet Capture Analysis, Electronic Mail Analysis;
  • Response/Recovery: Incident Response & Recovery, Forensics, Follow-up; and
  • Information Management: Data extraction, transformation & loading (ETL), Data management, archival, architecture, security and Analytical metadata, and Statistical modeling, and custom projects

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Provides day to day support to the GSOC Program Manager and to the GSOC customer;
  • Creates long- and short-term plans and ensures that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints;
  • Keeps Program Manager aware of ongoing progress and any obstacles to progress;
  • Provides effective decision making, especially when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project;
  • Participates in the development of project standards, procedures and quality objectives;
  • Leads efforts to establish metrics and monitoring and reporting of them;
  • Communicates with customer stakeholders to keep the project aligned with their goals. Maintains a collaborative environment with key stakeholders(s);
  • Facilitates program reviews, governance activities, and status meetings;
  • Creates and adjusts project schedules and targets as needed;
  • Identifies and manages potential risks, threats, incidents, intrusions, and other liabilities to the GSOC program.  Ensures that risks associated with the cost, resource, schedule, and technical aspects of the project are identified, assessed, documented, tracked, and mitigated;
  • Delegates project tasks to employees best suited to complete them; and provides effective communications, coaching, guidance and direction as needed;
  • Keeps the Program Manager, customer, and project team informed of the status of the project being managed; and
  • Supports the management of project resources, including subcontractors

Basic Qualifications

  • U. S. Citizen
  • Active Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Has at least one of the following certifications (or similar relevant certification): CASP, GCIH, GCWN, GISF, GISP, GSSP, GICSP, GSSP, SEI, CISSP, CCSP, CSSLP, SSCP, CCNP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, CEH, ECSP, MCSE, RHCA, RHCE, VCP, VCAP, VCIX, VCDX
