Leidos has an upcoming Battle Captain/Watch Office position in Vicenza, Italy.
This program provides critical Communications and Information Technology Services to support U.S. Africa Command, U.S. European Command, Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, Southern European Task Force, and associated staff elements and organizations. It provides our war fighters support in their mission to keep threats and vulnerabilities as low as possible by ensuring their computer network is stable, undisrupted and secure. This will require some OCONUS travel.
•Provide 24/7 shifts in the COIC, G3 Operations Directorate, HQ U.S. Army Southern European Task Force- Africa (SETAF-AF).
•Provide situational awareness to the COIC and SETAF-AF staff and monitors current operations (i.e., operations, exercises, theater security cooperation mission, and emergency incidents) involving SETAF-AF and supported Army organizations.
•Coordinates commander critical information requirements (CCIR), serious incident reports (SIR), situation reports, operation summaries, all source intelligence summaries, personnel status reports, resource status reports, planned courses of action, briefs, travel reports, weather forecasts, and other data as required.
•Helps manage, process, and report SETAF-AF theater entry issues and track personnel traveling to the USAFRICOM AOR.
•Serves as a single point of contact for incoming and outgoing RFIs.
•Consolidates RFIs generated from within the COIC and SETAF-AF and its subordinate elements and distributes them to the appropriate element for answers.
•Advise the command with timely and relevant information and well-analyzed recommendations.
•BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience.
•Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•Knowledge of joint doctrine, joint plans, policies, and practices supporting the full spectrum of military operations
•Must have an active Secret security clearance.
