The Defense Group currently has an opening for a Security Administrator in the Chesapeake, VA office in support of multiple contracts and customers. The candidate must possess the confidence to make decisions and learn new tasks related to Defense Program Security, high value contract support, and to implement security procedures that will prevent unauthorized access to company and government facilities or information. The candidate will ensure aspects of the Leidos core capabilities are compliant and will be responsible for providing support to various contracts performed at the location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the local Facility Security Officer (FSO), and Assistant Security Facility Officer (ASFO) implementing and providing guidance to customers and management on security issues such as security education, classified document control, security investigations, classification control, visitor/access control, CAC submissions in TASS and personnel clearances in compliance with the National Industrial Security Operating Manual (NISPOM), Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254), Program Classification Guides, Intelligence Community Directives and government policies. Duties may include studying, investigating, preparing reports and/or recommendations for preventative or corrective actions in areas requiring specific expertise.
High school diploma or equivalent
2-4 years of prior relevant experience
An active Secret clearance is required
- Experience in Industrial Security.
- Experience in COMSEC.
- CAC processing knowledge.
- Knowledge of Access Control, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Closed Area construction.
- Knowledge of DISS NISS, e-QIP, and ACCS.
- Resourceful in solving problems and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Professional Certifications/Affiliations.
