The work includes trade studies, system engineering, model based system engineering, portfolio analysis, software development demonstration and product testing and deployment to Cheyenne Mountain. Leidos is focused on finding the best people, processes, and tools that will provide solutions in data integration and fusion, data analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and decision support tools.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review, design, develop and ensure implementation cyber security requirements and provide demonstration support to illustrate how new data source capabilities could impact and improve the overall CCIC2S environment
Work with Trade Studies Leads to understand requirements and interface capabilities of new data source feeds
Lead efforts to ensure demonstrated capabilities have proper cyber security measures in place for software development for transition and deployment to live environment
Analyze coding and determine multiple courses of action to improve data source feed integration capabilities
Provide red line changes to existing Government documentation to keep deployed systems in compliance with Department of Defense guidelines
Identify and document any cyber security vulnerabilities and develop Plan of Actions and Milestones
Identify and analyze cybersecurity risks associated with system or software changes
Develop documentation to obtain Interim Authority to Test for new capabilities
Perform Security Impact Assessment (SIA) to document impacts to the security posture based on changes to the system or software
Identify and draft a Cybersecurity Assessment Plan (CAP) in contractor format no later than the Critical Design Review (CDR)
Perform security vulnerability scans for the system or software changes associated with the DO using DoD approved tools
Provide pre and post source code analysis tool results
Lead efforts to build, conduct and garner approval for proposed software development efforts
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with eight (8) years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Currently possess an Top Secret with ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
Experience with missile warning and missile warning defense
Understanding of missile warning message types
Experience with Java scripting, runtime and web logic
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in associated field
Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts
Experience with MatLab
Past experience in Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Global Data Integration (GDI), or other key missile defense programs or areas
