Leidos is seeking a Associate Material Pricing Analyst in Reston, VA.
Leidos has a job opening for an Associate Material Pricing Analyst in the Washington Metro Area (Reston, VA or Gaithersburg, MD). The job of the Material Pricing Analyst in the Materials Management organization with oversight over the RFx process on proposals. The ideal candidate will work multiple proposal strategic sourcing initiatives utilizing a combination of supply chain/financial background and project management expertise. This role will be a direct charge role supporting front end of the business opportunities. Other possible job responsibilities associated with this role could be Supplier Management, Program Material Acquisition, Business Process Re-Engineering, and Procurement Tool deployments.
-Responsible for timely and accurate material pricing on proposal efforts.
-Candidate will own the request for quote process, which includes maintaining compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
-Candidate will be responsible for meeting cost savings targets so negotiations skills are a must.
-Candidate will conduct data analytics and analyze large data sets to price Bill of Materials (BOM).
-Recent Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, sourcing, or logistics (or a related field) from an accredited university, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
-Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
-Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel as the team utilizes advanced functions in Excel to conduct data analytics.
-Ability to work in a group environment.
-Good organization skills.
-Keen attention to detail.
-Good oral and written communication skills.
-US Citizenship is required for this position.
-Basic understanding of creating complex solicitations, supporting proposals, conducting moderate complexity price and cost analysis, negotiating price/cost and price/cost-related terms.
-Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work under tight time constraints.
-U.S. Citizenship is required.
-Experience in the areas of procurement, pricing or subcontracts, with a demonstrated history of developing RFx’s that comply with the FAR and source selection under tight time constraints with minimal guidance.
