The work includes trade studies, system engineering, model based system engineering, portfolio analysis, software development demonstration and product testing and deployment to Cheyenne Mountain. Leidos is focused on finding the best people, processes, and tools that will provide solutions in data integration and fusion, data analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, data visualization, and decision support tools.
Primary Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate with software factory personnel all software development requirements and tasks
Conduct third party static code analysis performed with every iterative release or quarterly whichever is more frequent and provide summary reports to the customer
Integrate software assurance processes into the overall integrated system engineering process, maintaining visibility into software development performance throughout the OM&S lifecycle.
Utilize a management process that can respond to changes in requirements (technical and/or schedule), deconflict requirements prioritization, and product implementation
Align development activities with the Government validated backlog and any revisions
Ensure Government participation in peer reviews of artifacts produced as a requirement in an increment
Identify and report software or program management issues and/or risks associated with CCIC2S or Legacy Space enterprises found in operational baseline while in development of subsequent baselines
Support implementation preparation for a trial period, Sufficiency of Operational Test Review (SOTR), Operational User Evaluation (OUE), or Full Development Evaluation (FDE)
Coordinate with sites, and NISSC II OM&S contractor to support installation of hardware and software artifacts using the Software Version Description / Software Installation Plan / Site Preparation Requirements and Installation Plan procedures
Work with the Scheduler to develop and maintain a software development schedule that describes planned sprints, and incremental capability deliveries using agile practices
Plan, host and conduct a Release Planning Meetings with the Government
Conduct Sprint Planning Meetings at the beginning of every sprint following completion of the previous sprint review
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with six (6) years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Currently possess an Top Secret with ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
Experience with missile warning and missile warning defense
Experience using the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) database
Extensive experience developing and executing training in technical related fields
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in associated field
Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts
Past experience in Command and Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC), Global Data Integration (GDI), or other key missile defense programs or areas
