Job Description:

Leidos is seeking an experienced Pricing Analyst professional to support the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) contract. SMIT is the largest IT services program for the Navy, delivering the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, Leidos will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service.

This person is responsible creating and developing current and accurate proposal pricing and written cost narratives in response to SMIT requests for cost/price proposals; increasing in size, value and complexity. The individual will engage across multiple areas of the proposal lifecycle. They will work directly with the proposal/capture managers, solution leads, BOE leads, as well as Leidos corporate pricers throughout the process. The successful candidate will take lead on all pricing assignments and thrive in a quick turn, deadline focused environment to ensure all proposal timelines are met. The Pricing Analyst will directly support the three domains of SMIT, inclusive of MCEN, ONE-Net and NMCI, serving as a core member of the Order and Growth Team.

Primary Responsibilities

This position will have a significant impact on the award of new business and program growth for the SMIT program and will require a self-driven and dynamic individual, collaborating within cross-functional teams and performing within a rapid-paced environment. 

  • Utilizing PROPRICER™ to complete proposal pricing in compliance with Leidos Pricing Policy and Cost Estimating System Manual (CESM).

  • Daily interactions with cross-functional capture teams (BD, Finance, Contracts, HR) and Line/Group Management.

  • Communicate pricing requirements, collect basis of estimate (BOE) data, present proposal status and review pricing iterations.

  • Review and resolution of pricing and/or cost volume actions, including BOE accuracy and completeness.

  • Initiate internal files for peer reviews and pricing management reviews.

  • Create customer submittal files

  • Maintain current system of auditable pricing files and proposal artifacts.

Basic Qualifications

  •  Requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Previous experience with pricing and/or financial analysis.

  • Flexible, independent and reliable, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Must have strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience in government contracting environment.

  • Experience coordinating across multiple functional areas within a corporation

  • Able to multi-task, self-assign work, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to succinctly communicate with executive leadership

  • US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD SECRET security clearance 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently possess an active DoD SECRET security clearance

  • Working knowledge and previous experience using PROPRICER™

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Experience is writing cost volume narratives

  • Ability to remain upbeat, positive, and constructive within a dynamic environment operating under high-pressure deadlines
