Leidos is seeking a DevOps Administrator to support federal government systems and programs. This role requires an individual well versed in DevOps or Agile operating techniques, system administration, and automation or infrastructure as code. This role requires an understanding of federal compliance benchmarks, CI/CD pipelines, and the foundations of networking and cybersecurity. Individuals in this role will be required to be responsive to dynamic workloads, be capable of leveraging automation tools, and supporting governance of existing and new system environments.
Assist in administering Windows and Linux operating systems across multi-cloud environments, including but not limited to system access, policy enforcement, compliance, application support, and troubleshooting.
Design and develop automation to standardize and secure cloud services, leveraging tools.
Build, orchestrate, and automate playbooks and integrate with security tools/applications.
Perform vulnerability assessment and remediation; Implement and track compliance and configuration baselines.
Perform other system engineering duties as required.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
Scripting and automation experience in Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, AWS Cloudformation, Lambda, powershell, python, Jenkins, bash, etc.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS based security, serverless, database, compute, and/or log analytics services.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for work in a collaborative team environment with a customer service oriented approach.
Understanding of operational best practices, configuration management, and security controls.
AWS or Azure certification.
Understanding of networking concepts (CIDR and subnetting, ports and protocols, VPN, routing).
Experience with log collection and monitoring solutions.
