Job Description:
The Configuration Manager is responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Duties may include ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations and preparing deviations and waivers for government approval when specifications cannot be met.
The Configuration Manager will:
- support coordination across functional areas
- document user requirements and support transition to functionality
- support TEMS and coordination meetings that may influence development solutions
- document process and improve existing processes
- maintain baselines and track all changes to the Sponsor’s baselines
- resolve complex problems using application of technical knowledge and experience with the Sponsor’s processes
- work directly with the sponsor and effectively communicate, capturing and operationalizing the sponsor’s intent
Basic Qualifications
- Posses knowledge of Lean Agile practices and configuration management’s role
- BS degree with 12 to 15 years of prior relevant experience
- Expertise with the Sponsor’s configuration management practices and processes
- Familiar with IdAM / ICAM delivery systems, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes, Entitlement Management and Digital Policy Management
- Familiar with security accreditation process
- Experience baselining system accreditation
- An active TS/SCI with Poly
Preferred Qualifications
- MS with 10 to 13 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with the Sponsor’s entitlement management programs
- SAFe Agilist Certification, PMP
