Job Description:
Leidos has a great opportunity for a Software Developer at Offutt AFB, NE. The candidate will be part of a development team and responsible for building applications and programs using JavaScript (React), Nodejs, Express, HTML, and CSS. The developer will also be required to support the maintenance of application hardware. He/She will also provide support in security, database, and deployment processes for applications built with several distinct languages and architectures, operating primarily in a classified cloud environment. The candidate must be flexible, as customer needs and requirements shift often, which will require strong organizational, prioritization, communication, and time management skills.
Required Skills:
Security+ equivalent or higher certification (IAT Level II+)
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree (experience/coursework/certifications may be substituted in lieu of degree)
Linux/Windows OS familiarity
Familiarity with Cloud operations
Familiarity with the setup and use of Virtual Machines
Agile/Scrum Development
CI/CD Processes
Containerization
Network/Hardware maintenance support
Strategic and innovative mindset, comfortable thinking a few steps ahead.
Strong written and oral communication skills; including public speaking.
Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI with Polygraph (requires US Citizenship)
Preferred Skills:
Data-Science
MERN Fullstack Development
Familiarity with Air Force intelligence operations and IC computer networks
Kubernetes orchestration
Current TS/SCI desired.
