Command & Control
The Civil Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Transition Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to use your contract transition experience to successfully transition a large DOE program in the Oak Ridge, TN area. This position is a 90-day assignment that could lead to full-time opportunity.
- Determine activities to be included in the transition plan and ensure transition schedule includes all activities necessary to complete deliverables. Lead planning and status meetings and assign actions to team members.
- Oversee execution of activities specified in the Transition Plan
- Works with Internal Project Team’s to manage transition deliverable leads to accomplish transition tasks on schedule for Declaration of Readiness
- Reports to the Strategic Planning and Integration Director
Proven understanding of program transition approach and concepts
Requires a BA degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience. 12 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Proven and successful execution of Program Transitions as Transition Coordinator.
Experience as a project manager and/or program manager or deputy.
Excellent written and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to schedule changes & slips, project re-scopes, and customer directed changes to ensure compliant product delivery.
The successful candidate will be able to join new projects quickly, and work effectively with a diverse group of others.
Ability to multi-task and cover a wide variety of issues and areas.
