Leidos has a career opening for a AISR Operations Support Cell Lead at Hill AFB, Utah.

This position provides leadership and direction to a team of network controllers/analysts responsible for operating and maintaining the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN) in support of global Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance mission partners. This position is responsible for ensuring 24x7x365 operations support and the general day to day management of AISR Operations Support Cell personnel. Activities that this position will oversee include scheduling, ensuring compliance with SOPs and policies, quality control reviews of trouble tickets, and point of contact for global mission partners and interested parties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead a team of network controllers/analysts at Hill Air Force Base, Ogden UT in the AISR OSC

  • Engage personnel are in compliance with all established SOPs, TTPs, local practices, and training requirements and provide coaching where necessary

  • Manage 24x7x365 schedules, coordinate and approve absences while ensuring minimal manning requirements

  • Manage and supports new hires in onboarding activities and departing staff with out-processing actions

  • Conduct periodic performance reviews and career discussions 

  • Maintain required documentation for performance related improvement plans

  • Review and approve daily/weekly timecards

  • Create and manage After Action Reports or Critical Incident Reports as required

  • Create and manage network diagrams for supported sites as needed

  • Create, maintain, and deliver informal and formal contract deliverables as required

  • Direct oversight of up to 9 controllers/analysts and indirect oversight of up to 20 controllers/analysts, SMEs, engineers, and ASI mitigation personnel

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4-8 yrs. of relevant experience in a lead role; specific years of applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Be able to communicate effectively and clearly both orally and in written form.

  • Must possess DoD 8570, IAT Level II (SEC+ or equivalent) Certification.

  • Minimum Secret clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity or experience directly supporting global AISR missions and unmanned aircraft

  • Experience with one or more transport technologies/platforms (i.e. ODXC/MSPP/DWDM/etc)

  • Experience with Cisco and/or Juniper routing and switching devices

  • Experience with or knowledge of network monitoring tools
