The Defense Group of Leidos has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, Project Manager in Stuttgart, Germany in support of the CITS III program.  

PROGRAM SUMMARY:
This program provides critical Communications and Information Technology Services to support U.S. Africa Command (US AFRICOM) and associated staff elements and organizations.  It provides our war fighters support in their mission to keep threats and vulnerabilities as low as possible by ensuring their computer network is stable, undisrupted, secure and will require some OCONUS travel.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must have an active Secret Clearance and be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Manage project work and lead project startup and execution in accordance with task orders. 
•Ensure quality, define and collect metrics and manage overall schedule. 
•Manage fact-finding, analysis, and development of hypothesis/conclusions, production of final reports and delivery of presentations.
•Manage the overall coordination of IT projects, from planning through implementation. 
•Set project scope, priorities, and deadlines, as well as the schedule for deliverables. 
•Facilitate discussions and consensus among the various project stakeholders. 
•Monitor, adjust and report on project performance, budget, and schedule. 
•Track administration of systems/environment solutions for multiple projects with varying schedules.
•Interface with vendors as required. 
•Support the planning of system/environment requirements for individual projects. 
•May provide work direction and guidance to others.
•Prepare and present program level management reviews of project performance. 
•Prepare, update, and distribute project management products, such as PERT/CPM charts, and major milestone calendars required for overall program management. 
•Monitor and track identified events in each individual project and tracks the interdependencies of all schedules, resulting in an overall master schedule. 
•Responsible for specifying scheduling and graphics tools to support management of DISN programs. 
•Produce management reports for personnel and contractual resources. 
•Develop work breakdown structures and prepares charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems and making recommendations. 
•Provide functional guidance,  technical support, and quality assurance/quality control as necessary. 
•Support senior staff as required and ensures customer requirements and project milestones are met. 


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•BA/BS + 5 years recent specialized or AA/AS + 9 years recent specialized or a major cert + 9 years recent specialized or 13 years of recent specialized experience
•Proficient use of project related software applications: MS Office, MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, etc.
•Strong technical writing, documentation, presentation and organizational skills,
•Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II (or greater) certification prior to start date (i.e. Security +).
•Project Management Professional (PMP)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•ITIL v3 – Foundation, MCSA and/or CCNA.
•Working knowledge of supporting Operating Systems: Windows Server 2008-2016 and Windows 10, VMWare vSphere, Solaris 10-11, Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
•Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.
•Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards.
•Experience working with and supporting Cisco Routers and Switches.
