The Leidos team is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer with detailed knowledge of the Tomahawk Weapons System to join our team in California, MD>
The candidate must have experience with both the TWS weapon system, the TMPC subsystem and be familiar with the other sub system elements. Experience with defining interfaces and working in an integrated product team environment is required. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering techniques and tools. The candidate should be able to apply these tools to the requirements set associated with the TWS system and associated sub systems. The candidate will provide guidance to the program office regarding design decisions and risks associated with changes to the system. The candidate will develop mitigation strategies for program office approval associated with the risks that are identified.
Responsible for planning within the TWS weapon system to include hardware/software design.
Responsible for establishing requirements and the planning of integration and design within the Model Based Systems Engineering tools.
Responsible for system deadlines and deliverables and considered to be the SME for assigned processes.
Active Secret clearance with ability to be approved to TS/SCI
Bachelors Degree and 12 or more years of related experience
Candidate should have a minimum of a SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
