Job Description:

Leidos is seeking an eDiscovery Program Manager/Director with a passion for eDiscovery technology, all phases of litigation support and a desire to lead a dynamic team of litigation support professionals supporting U.S. Government agencies. As an eDiscovery Program Manager/Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of all work for a Division and all phases of performance, including contract management, project/task management, P/L responsibility, coordination of Division workloads and resource needs, and coordination with corporate resources and management. The eDiscovery Program Manager/Director has direct accountability to plan and deliver projects on time, within budget and for the technical correctness and quality of deliverables and will be the central point of contact with the Division. The eDiscovery Program Manager/Director will provide the planning, direction, coordination, and control necessary to accomplish all work requirements and task orders and manage and oversee all activities performed by contractor personnel, including subcontractors, to satisfy the contract requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Program Manager (PM) to ensure successful program execution.

  • Provide tactical direction to teams to ensure efficient and timely program execution.

  • Serve as central point of contact for the Division with the authority to commit company resources.

  • Organize, plan, schedule, implement, control, analyze, and report on all task orders and projects for the Division to both the Government and Leidos management.

  • Create plans and processes required to meet all performance, schedule, quality, cost, and security requirements.

  • Meet with the COR and designees on a weekly basis to review scheduling, priorities, funding, performance issues, and plans for the next workweek.

  • Provide guidance and recommendations on Relativity, analytics, assisted review, and other Relativity functionality.

  • Maintain currency on eDiscovery tools and technologies and provide inputs for white papers and proposals.

  • Work with the IT Program Manager to implement long-term IT road map elements in conjunction with regular O&M activity.

  • Present and discuss the status of contract activities, requirements, and problems during program reviews and in response to requests from the Government.

  • Coordinate with contracts, finance, human resources, and procurement management functions.

  • Perform hiring, supervision, and performance assessment.

  • Identify, mitigate and control risks. Drive process improvement and innovation.

  • Manage and integrate the efforts of subcontractors supporting Division activities, assuring flow-down and fulfillment of all contractual requirements.

  • Plan/lead program reviews and briefings; identify and report on issues or related problems and potential risks.

  • Oversee creation and maintenance of monthly in-process reviews (IPRs) presented to the COR to ascertain planned versus actual progress.

Basic Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate must have broad and deep knowledge of litigation support, Relativity, eDiscovery methodologies, propensity for identifying new products and services, business administration, human resource management, information resources management, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions or Master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions.

  • In depth knowledge of Relativity, analytics, assisted review, and other Relativity functionality.

  • Experience leading eDiscovery, litigation support or similar programs of $50-100M total contract value or greater with profit and loss responsibility.

  • Experience managing large-scale enterprise operations and maintenance including metrics collection and reporting.

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including experience in presenting material to senior Government officials and communicating and coordinating with other Government contractors and stakeholders

  • Ability to collaborate with technical staff and senior level customers in forming strategies to improve performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness of litigation support projects.

  • Experience leading and supervising a multi-disciplinary staff (100 persons or more) of various labor categories and skills and a large group of subcontractors to deliver Litigation Support Services.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification.

  • Active Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification.

  • Solid understanding of infrastructure as well as expert knowledge of Relativity and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment.

  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with government partners to prioritize multiple competing priorities to maintain multiple applications while simultaneously implementing desired system enhancements
