Command & Control
The Civil Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a VCC and Information Systems Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to use your information systems experience to successfully transition a large DOE program in the Oak Ridge, TN area.
Evaluate mission requirements and develop, test, integrate and implement associated information system solutions including the virtual command center for integration of key performance information for access by customers, team members and management.
Research, evaluate, integrate and modify Commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware with COTS and custom software
Work independently and as part of a project team responsible for installing, configuring, integrating and testing systems hardware and software and related tactical and enterprise IT and communications systems
Work independently and as part of a team to evaluate and recommend new technologies and to enhance current capabilities of established situational awareness systems
Responsible for developing test procedures, system documentation and training materials
Analyze system faults, troubleshoots and runs diagnostic tests on hardware, applications, and operating systems to detect problems
Provide technical analyses of network challenges and problems and be able to develop/implement technical solutions
Tests, evaluates, installs developed software during various phases of development
Work closely with the Leidos Information Assurance team to ensure that all systems are compliant with DOE cyber and information security requirements.
Requires deep Information Systems knowledge to lead cross-family projects and integrated project teams across multiple disciplines
Requires a BA degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience. 12 years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree
Experience in architecture planning to facilitate delivery of enterprise level capabilities.
Demonstrated experience as a lead tactical and strategic technical integrator.
Experience with development and integration of systems solutions.
Demonstrated experience with supporting adoption methods, such as governance or policy definitions, to deliver integrated security solutions across multiple security domains
Experience incorporating requirements into technical roadmaps.
Demonstrated experience providing analysis of alternatives for capability enhancements.
Experience participating in forums addressing technical aspects of systems.
Demonstrated experience evaluating new technologies to improve existing enterprise services.
Experience providing recommendations for architectural enhancements.
Demonstrated experience drafting and presenting technical documentation.
Experience with the agile methodology.
Experience with enterprise architecture.
Demonstrated experience acting as a liaison between large organizations
Experience with provisioning systems, user attributes, entitlements management, and role based permissions as they relate to access control and identity management.
Demonstrated experience with adjudicating competing priorities.
