PROGRAM SUMMARY:
Leidos was recently awarded the GxNEXT (Follow on to GEOAxIS) contract to provide online, on-demand access to GEOINT content, services, expertise, and support, based upon the user’s known/trusted identity and authoritative attributes/roles. Provides Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) services for the customer’s enterprise, as well others in within the DoD organization. Also provided are five main cyber-relevant services: Authentication (AuthN); Authorization (AuthZ); Digital Policy Management (DPM); Entitlement Management (EM); and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA). Supports the enterprise’s entire ICAM lifecycle, including the maintenance and sustainment of the current operational environments, agile development of new capabilities/ enhancements, integration support, and consumer integration and experience efforts promoting the adoption of ICAM services.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Leidos is seeking qualified candidates for an Elasticsearch Engineer. Responsibilities include:
Deploys, configures, tests, troubleshoots, maintains and upgrades Elastic clusters and environments. They plan and optimize resources, infrastructure and effective configuration to maximize performance and maintains cluster health.
Work in an Agile environment: estimate features and user stories, participate in developing sprint roadmaps, analyze user stories, develop design and architecture elements to support user story and / or feature development.
Resolve installation, infrastructure, data flow, and log ingest issues in both development and production environments.
Configure Kibana for end-user access using role-based filtering and/or multi-tenancy features
Interface with other developers to integrate Elastic stack with existing ICAM baseline
Perform daily administration tasks for Elasticsearch clusters and environments
Work in SecDevOps environment with automated CI/CD pipelines
Participate in design reviews
Develop mockups and wireframes
Conduct peer reviews and code reviews
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline plus 8 to 12 years of professional experience
Experience as a software developer, integrator, administrator, or similar technical role
3 or more years of demonstrable experience designing, developing, and deploying solutions using the Elastic stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats.
Active Top Secret clearance, willingness to be sponsored and able to obtain and SCI level clearance upon request.
Experience with Elastic stack security features, such as client authentication, SSL/TLS configuration, and role-based document filtering
Strong documentation skills with a proven ability to develop troubleshooting guides, standard operating procedures, architecture diagrams, etc.
Highly autonomous, self-directed, and proactive when it comes to maintaining system infrastructure and log data integrity
Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira / Confluence etc.
HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD:
Elastic Certified Engineer
Experience with containers orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working in a production environment with strict availability/uptime requirements
Experience or familiarity with identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) technologies and concepts
