Leidos was recently awarded the GxNEXT (Follow on to GEOAxIS) contract to provide online, on-demand access to GEOINT content, services, expertise, and support, based upon the user’s known/trusted identity and authoritative attributes/roles. Provides Identity Credential and Access Management (ICAM) services for the customer’s enterprise, as well others in within the DoD organization. Also provided are five main cyber-relevant services: Authentication (AuthN); Authorization (AuthZ); Digital Policy Management (DPM); Entitlement Management (EM); and Authoritative Attributes (AuthA). Supports the enterprise’s entire ICAM lifecycle, including the maintenance and sustainment of the current operational environments, agile development of new capabilities/ enhancements, integration support, and consumer integration and experience efforts promoting the adoption of ICAM services.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Leidos is seeking qualified candidates for a DevSecOps Engineer with Ansible expertise. Responsibilities include:
Manage and maintain the Red Hat Ansible Tower automation platform
Design, create, and deliver playbooks that will enable support automation solutions at scale
Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide subject matter expertise level support ·
Develop, configure, and administer SecDevOps and IT automation solutions ·
Understand and simplify large complex enterprise systems
Ensure services always remain available during automated deployments
Provide technical support to IT ops around automation solution usage
Coordinate with the Operations, Systems, and Development teams to identify improvements to the installation and deployment of the software baseline through Ansible
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 4-8 years of experience or additional relevant years of experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of +4 years of hands-on xperience with Ansible and creating Ansible playbooks for the installation and deployment of COTS/FOSS, web applications, and containers
Experience implementing a continuous integration (CI) / continuous development (CD) pipeline
Very good analytical/problem solving skills
Experience with AWS and virtualized platforms (VMware/Red Hat Linux),
Intermediate scripting skills in Ruby, Python, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and/or Bash
Expert level understanding and implementation of RESTful APIs
Comfortable with frequent incremental code testing and deployment
Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.
Experience working in an agile development environment
HOW TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD:
Experience tied to US IC/Department of Defense/Federal agency customers is a plus
Hands-on technical experience in at least one of the following areas: software development, software test automation, system administration/deployment.
Experience with Atlassian stack (JIRA Confluence, Bitbucket) or comparable Agile management software
Experience with git, subversion, or other source management tools
Understanding (or experience) with SecDevOps and CI/CD concepts and associated tools, including code build (e.g. Jenkins) and deployment automation (e.g. Ansible, Chef)
Attention to detail, with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in software versions, configuration, and component compatibility
Security+ certification is a plus
