The Defense Group of Leidos has a career opportunity for a Virtual Infrastructure Systems Engineer located in Djibouti.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Perform data center infrastructure network engineering and design on a geographically dispersed enterprise network. 
•Provide engineering efforts in the lifecycle of projects to include documentation, design, build, integrate, transition, implementation, test, and training for transitioned to IT Operations Management.  
•Analyze and provide recommendations for hardware and software life cycle and standardization for the enterprise and recommend best-practice solutions for datacenter and virtual infrastructure technologies.
•Work in dynamic fast paced environment that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts including remote site support and/or travel to customer servers and sites as required.
•Provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required. 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
•Must have an active Secret clearance and be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
•BA/BS + 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS +7 years recent specialized or a major cert + 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience.
•Extensive knowledge of VI environments and the continued operation of a large scale VI deployment
•VMWare Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VPC-DCV)
•CompTIA Security + (IAT Level II or greater)
•Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) Server 2016
•Engineering background in design, implementation and migration of Data Center technologies to include Cisco NEXUS products, Cisco UCS, Cisco UCS Manager, Fabric Interconnects, NETAPP storage solutions/ SAN configurations, FCOE, VMWARE, ESXi, SNAP mirroring. 
•Must be willing/able to work OCONUS for minimum of one year.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Familiarity with private cloud virtualization and virtual networks in VMWare environments using hyperflex solutions to support Citrix VDI environments would be desirable.
•ITIL v3 or v4 – Foundation
•Experience with Citrix licensing
•Cisco Data Center Certification (CCNA, CCNP)
•Netapp Certification
•Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
•Understanding of Department of Defense Military standar
