Job Description:

Leidos's Finance Services Closeout Team located in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Closeout Audit Supervisor. The selected candidate will be responsible for supervising final audit and other invoicing activities, along with other closeout related items. This individual will facilitate the day-to-day work environment for Closeout Audit staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review and approval of  final audit and other invoice packages to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual, regulatory and department requirements for contract closeout
  • Managing direct reports workload to include assignment of contracts requiring final audit, cancelling funds or other invoicing activities.
  • Must continually review department closeout backlog to identify contracts that are eligible for assignment and final closure.
  • Troubleshoot complex closeout issues and problems and work toward an appropriate resolution either independently or by coordinating with management, as appropriate.
  • Review of Journal Entry, Bill History and other correcting entries into Costpoint to ensure accuracy.
  • Must track all direct report individual performance metrics to ensure team members are meeting weekly performance goals as well as stated department and government deadlines.
  • Manage and propose recognition as well as disciplinary actions for direct reports as appropriate.
  • Help develop and update desk reference guides, QRCs and other process documents to ensure training materials are kept accurate and up to date.
  • Review and clear other backlog items such as unclaimed property, negative variance, and outstanding unbilled balances et cetera as assigned
  • Train and mentor all department team members.
  • Conduct annual performance reviews and help establish individual goals.
  • Must be able to work multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to adjust quickly to emerging priorities on short notice.
  • Interact with internal and external customers and all levels of management
  • Must be able to work overtime to meet regulatory and customer deadlines
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field coupled with 3+ years of related government audit, invoice and/or contract experience
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements for invoicing and final closeout requirements
  • Must exhibit a clear understanding of all contract types and possess the ability to read and interpret contractual documents and have a working knowledge of standard billing terms and conditions
  • Understanding of corporate indirect rates structures and application
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus
  • Advanced skill level in Excel is required
