The Defense Group of Leidos has an opportunity for an Operations Officer at the Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) Defense Production Act (DPA) Title III Program Office. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining oversight of the OSD DPA Title III Program Office. Ideal candidate will have a BS and 15 years of relevant experience, be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop Program Management Directives, Memoranda for the Record, and Interagency Agreements for the effective execution of OSD DPA Title III Program operations

  • Act as liaison with the Executive Agent Program Office to ensure OSD DPA Title III Program leadership is aware of substantial programmatic developments or risks and review their reporting requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Provide recommendations on process improvements and ensure the Program is able to scale sufficiently to meet increasing requirements

  • Send Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs), Interagency Agreements, and Purchase Requests to offices executing Title III efforts and coordinate with the Industrial Policy Resource Management team to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the system of record

  • Develop meeting materials for various audiences

  • Coordinate inputs for and ensure accuracy of weekly internal DoD reporting requirements

  • Leverage historical program knowledge to advise OSD DPA Title III Program leadership on active lines of effort, relevant points of contact, and prior Program activities

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of BA/BS and 15+ years’ experience. Education can be used in lieu of experience

  • Knowledge and experience of DPA Title III programs, policies, and operational processes

  • US citizenship required.
