Job Description:

The SharePoint SME/Developer will focus on conceptualizing, planning, and developing web applications using the Microsoft SharePoint and SharePoint Online. The candidate should be a highly experienced SharePoint Architect / Lead Developer to help design and implement solutions based on a new enterprise-wide instances of SharePoint and support enterprise migration of existing SharePoint farm into SharePoint Online. Candidate should be able to lead the design, development, migration, and deploy web parts and applications using the existing SharePoint platforms to guide development teams, administrators, end-users, and stakeholders. The successful candidate will also have significant knowledge of Office 365 platform, services, and associated configuration, along with expert programming skills. The candidate must work independently while running a specific concept to ground. The candidate will collaborate with a diverse program team and must be able to communicate effectively in obtaining and synthesizing requirements, while working with the team to develop technical solutions that meets mission objectives. The candidate will provide consultation and hands-on implementation support to SharePoint implementation including design, architecture, configuration, migration best practices, and strategies to support operational KPIs. The candidate will develop and implement application features as part of an interactive Agile development process, and support SharePoint and Office 365 initiatives. Additionally, the candidate must possess strong communication and collaboration skills. May be able to telework 50% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.

  • Architecture and design of SharePoint implementations and solutions using best practices.

  • Implementation and customization of SharePoint-based solutions including branding of SharePoint sites and applications

  • Implementation of SharePoint-based workflows

  • C# and Microsoft .NET (4.5) development to extend and augment the SharePoint platform

  • Development of custom web parts and SharePoint-based applications

  • Architect level development skills with SharePoint coupled with familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and above

  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365

  • Migration experience of on-premises SharePoint farm into SharePoint Online.

  • Proficiency in coding and maintaining cloud based systems. Computer Science degree preferred.

  • Proficiency in coding and maintaining Web-based systems and applications for usability and Web accessibility.

  • Ability to synthesize user requirements into system design and into coded implementation that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints.

  • Proficiency in automated regression testing using scripts.

  • Experience in Implementing Microsoft ADFS

  • Experience in engineering Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)

  • Experience with Azure AD Connect

  • Experience in engineering solutions with Microsoft Azure AD

  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
