A Business Analyst, Senior has experience in the effective use of data provided by cost estimators to create overall cost versus benefit assessment while considering functional benefits, technical performance, risks, and schedule concerns. Additionally, a Business Analyst, Senior will be working on budgeting and analyzing current and past financial data and performance.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:
Analyzing current and past financial data and performance
Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation
Exploring investment opportunities
Establishing and evaluating profit plans
Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts
Providing financial models and forecasting
Maintain accurate documentation for assigned workspace and procedures, updating procedures including, but not limited to budgeting and finance
Ability to work with customers of various financial abilities
Understand and utilize de-escalation techniques when working with difficult customers.
Work independently and receive minimal guidance on work assignments
Monitor high value Business-centric transactions and manages response actions.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, Cost Accounting or related scientific or technical discipline.
Five (5) years of relevant experience
Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education: (13 years total)
Must have the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
