We are in search of a CAD Drafter for our Novi office to join our diverse and dynamic organization. As a core team member of our Utility Substation Section, you will be interacting with an established group of engineers, designers and drafters, playing a valuable part in executing drafting of accurate drawing packages for utility power delivery projects, using MicroStation and AutoCAD.

What you will bring to the table:
- HS diploma and/or drafting certificate with 1+ years relevant experience drafting and detailing with AutoCAD 2016/2018 and/or MicroStation V7/V8/V8i.
- Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures.
- Proficiency in the ability to manipulate vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Ability to create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of software programs including Autodesk (AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault) and ProjectWise
- Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro or Bluebeam.
- Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.
- Autodesk inventor 3D Inventor work experience
- Knowledge of BOM and the Autodesk vault (database)
- Substation drafting experience using AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of ProjectWise is desired.
