Leidos is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Research and Development Directorate (J9), Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE), inTransition program.

The DHA PHCoE inTransition program is a critical program to provide a Transition Support Contact Call Center Program (operationalized by the name “inTransition”) to transitioning service members or veterans who are currently receiving psychological health care (i.e, mental health care or behavioral health care) and wish to receive care at their new destination or with a new provider in their same location, or wish to initiate psychological health care for the first time. This program will establish and maintain a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (24/7) toll-free contact call support center that operates 365 days per year. Additionally, the inTransiton Call Center will be staffed by professionals who are trained and licensed to provide mental health care to bridge the transitional knowledge gap between identification and receipt of psychological health care services for a broad range of users, including Active Duty Service Members, Reserve Component, National Guard, Coast Guard, and Veterans and their family members.

Primary Responsibilities

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) supports the Program Manager with project management, task tracking, data management, coordination activities, communications, and all other PM other functions. The DPM leads, creates, compiles, and delivers reporting deliverables. The DPM provides data for, and assists with, tasks for PHCoE leadership and Congress.

  • Manage and performed all program reporting processes, including data interpretation, presentation, and improvement.

  • Perform all Program Manager duties to include but not limited to supervision of the Outreach/Transition Support Contact Call Center Program operations, collaboration with other departments of the company, program data analysis and statistic preparation.

  • Assisted government client with program evaluations and tasks for senior leadership and Congress.

  • Manage multiple projects at one time and ensure the timely completion of deliverables.

  • Collaborate with multiple agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs, community providers, the Defense Health Agency, and Department of Defense.

  • Performed outreach to Veterans Service Organizations, Military Treatment Facilities, Veterans Affairs Hospitals, Medical Centers, and other organizations affiliated with members of the military.

  • Create and implement annual report, to include analysis of program to review return on investment, program usage, etc.; make recommendations for process improvement and cost savings.

  • Maintain and update Policy & Procedure manual

  • Manage any change management or issue resolution including any changes to assure continuity of operations and solid customer relationship during those changes.

  • Manage team training requirements and serve as the government’s point of contact for required trainings;

  • Train new employees.

  • Update monthly deliverables as need to meet contract requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in management or health related field required; mental health preferred plus 5-7 years relevant experience
