The C4ISR Mission Solutions Division is looking for a Senior Program Manager to manage a missile defense command and control program in Colorado Springs, CO. This an exciting opportunity to lead a new software development program and help to build the Leidos business in the area.
Responsible for all aspects of managing the program to include technical execution, cost, and schedule from project startup to close-out. Achieving all technical milestones throughout the software development lifecycle while maintaining high customer satisfaction is critical. Responsible for recruiting and managing the performance and needs of the Leidos staff as well as managing subcontractors. The Program Manager is the primary Leidos point of contact with our customer and must establish and maintain relationships with other government organizations and stakeholders. Objectives of this position also include establishing and executing to a strategic vision and growing the program to support evolving customer requirements while meeting internal financial objectives. The successful candidate will be required to brief senior management up to an including the CEO. They may also be responsible for managing or overseeing some other projects, proposals, opportunity captures, and other activities as required.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other relevant field
Eight (8) years relevant experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Five (5) years of experience managing software development programs
Minimum of four (4) years of experience supervising or leading team projects
Excellent written and verbal communications skills for communicating with customers and or clients; strong problem solving and people skills for collaborating with team.
DoD SECRET security clearance or higher
Master’s degree in a relevant technical or management field
Prior military or civilian experience with missile defense command and control systems
Pay Range:Pay Range $110,500.00 - $170,000.00 - $229,500.00
