Leidos Defense group is seeking a Material Handling Coordinator. The successful candidate will support logistics operations of the Navy Array Technical Support Center (NATSC), Newport RI, by performing clerical tasks related to the production in the repair facility.
These duties can include, but are not limited to: creating, tracking material orders for NRFI assets.
Communicating, coordinating fleet requirements with the NATSC Logistics Management Analyst.
Preparing asset shipping letters.
Producing daily, weekly, monthly production reports.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience supporting Logistical activities.
Previous experience reading/interpreting NATSC WORK IN PROGRESS production reports.
Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, copiers).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, NDA, TAMS
Must have Interim Secret clearance to start on program and obtain final Secret to remain on program.
- Previous experience supporting Logistics activities within NATSC.
- Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, copiers).
- Recent experience at NATSC Newport as a Material Coordinator or equivalent.
- Previous experience creating, reading/interpreting, NATSC WORK IN PROGRESS production reports.
- Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Access, NDA, TAMS and NATSC POLICY AND PROCEDURES. (NATSC DEPOT APPLICATION, TOWED ARRAY MANAGEMENT SYTEMS)
