The Enterprise and Cyber Solutions Operation currently has an opening for a Systems Integration Lead to support a large complex data system for our customer, the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).
The Systems Integration Lead (SIL) for the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS)/Defense Civilian HR Management System (DCHRMS) program is responsible for managing the day-to-day systems integration of the program, including communications, support with budgeting, deployment planning and coordination with various cross-functional teams.
The SIL will have current hands-on working knowledge of Oracle EBS and HCM technologies, to include implementation experience within an Agile framework and will need to be able to lead best practices with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background of successfully collaborating with customers and customer stakeholders for DoD agencies.
The SIL must be capable of building a collaborative and innovative culture in an effort to provide our customers with the best possible solutions that meet their strategic goals. This position will also be expected to collaborate closely with functional organizations (Planning & Engineering, SW Development, Application Support, Operations, and Cybersecurity) goals and objectives. This position will report to the DCPDS/DCHRMS Integration, Deployment & Test Manager.
Support the DCHRMS Scrum Delivery Teams (SDT) daily scrums, support the SoS Lead along with Delivery Value Chain Lead.
Lead integration meetings with the technical staff (development, configuration management, test and operations) to coordinate deployment requirements and communicate key plans to the customer and functional users.
Support the Integration, Deployment Manager with the migration and deployment of legacy system to the cloud.
Collaborate with the release planning/configuration and test leads to ensure critical processes are in place, communicated and trained to increase cross-team efficiencies and implement any process improvements.
Build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with customers while developing a deep understanding of their priorities
Identify risks, resolve problems and verify effectiveness of corrective actions
Support DevSecOps Engineering efforts
Support the growth, performance and junior level staff members
Bachelors of Computer Science and 8+ years prior relevant experience within the Federal and/or DoD domains OR 12+ years prior relevant experience in lieu of degree.
U.S. Citizenship required with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
Demonstrated current working knowledge of Oracle HR applications.
3+ years with leading high tempo technical teams in share services, configuration and deployment that has demonstrated multi-team management skills, decision making, communication and time management.
Experience formulating a technical strategy and roadmap
Knowledge of Agile Development Methodology working expertise and/or certifications
Knowledge of DevSecOps processes and implementing automation tools
Knowledge of Engineering and Management Processes (e.g. ITIL, PMP)
Knowledge of Federal and DoD industry/government best practices
Hands on experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
Demonstrates integrity, respect, and a commitment to excellence, collaboration, agility, and diversity
Experience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization
Ability to collaborate with Program Management and customers in forming strategies to improve performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness
Certifications in Agile, ITIL and PMP;
Ability to develop using Python, C++, Java and SQL
