The Civil Group of Leidos is seeking a Contracts Representative to support our Integrated Missions Operation.
The Contract Representative will provide overall contract compliance of assigned tasks in accordance with contract requirements, company policy and procedures, and applicable laws. Candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.
Assist in the proposal process for future work, monitoring existing contracts, assist in contract negotiations, resolve performance issues, identify risks and associated mitigations, ensure compliance with Leidos policies, procedures as well as government and contract requirements.
Portfolio will be a mix of commercial, federal and municipal contracts.
Work with senior Contracts staff to increase knowledge base.
Regularly interact with programs, contracts, project control, finance, business development and with customers as required.
Develop or review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance and minimize company liability
Support internal contractual actions (filing contracts, coordinating documents for approval, lead data collection activities, etc.)
Support internal/external audit activities
Bachelor 's degree and 2-4 years of related experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
Knowledge of general federal contracts marketplace with particular emphasis on contracts administration.
Negotiation skills, including experience understanding terms and conditions.
Must have experience with all contract types and a knowledge of FAR and DFAR.
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple priorities is required.
Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Knowledge in commercial and municipal contracts a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills desired.
Ability to establish relationships internally and externally within the Leidos community.
Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint.
Pay Range:Pay Range $54,600.00 - $84,000.00 - $113,400.00
