We are in search of a Lead Substation Protection and Control Engineer to join our diverse and fast-paced Portland OR and Honolulu HI organization. As a core team member, you will be interacting with other electric utility disciplines, playing a valuable part in leading and designing high voltage utility substation projects.

In this role, the qualified individual will be expected to:
- Demonstrate leadership experience in executing substation protection and control projects
- Demonstrate Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with the internal team and clients to meet project needs.
- Lead bids and proposal effort for utility clients
- Perform quality control checks on substation protection and control design projects.
- Expected to read and design substation protection and control drawings such as one line drawings, three line drawings, AC/DC schematic drawings and wiring design
- Attend site visit at customer location
What you will bring to the table:
- 7+ years of Substation protection control design and/or field testing/commissioning experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, civil or related degree
It would be nice if you had:
- P.E license
- Master’s degree in related field
- Field testing/commissioning experience
