Job Description:

The Mission Solutions Operation is seeking a Program Financial Control, Senior to support a new $3B contract.  This contract is highly dynamic and enables visibility and collaboration with the highest levels of the Operation, Group, and Corporate leadership.  This position reports directly to the Singlelock Program Manager.  Significant growth opportunities based on performance! 


Primary and Specific Responsibilities~

The Program Financial Control, Senior will be functionally responsible for the following areas:  

·         This is a senior role that will be responsible for invoice preparation and detailed reconciliation with inclusion of procurement data in multiple customer systems

·         Cash Management and balance sheet planning, especially around inventory and AR and process improvement

·         Assisting the PM and Lead Project Finance Analyst with the cash flow, invoicing, and financial management & planning for a $3B contract primarily focused on enterprise IT procurement and logistics.  

·         Program Financial Controller will be responsible for periodic performance tracking, reporting and problem resolution.  

·         Given the procurement nature of the position, a heavy emphasis will be placed on balance sheet analysis and management along with a focus on cash flow analysis and process improvement.  

·         There will be significant emphasis on process improvement, problem solving, and development of “out-of-the-box” solutions to new problems and challenges.  

·         Analyzes data and prepares accurate and timely information to management in support of decision-making activities. 

·         Process improvement and automation, especially as it relates to invoice preparation and reconciliation

·          Direct support of Lead PFA, PM, and PMO team in all aspects of program financial reporting and procurement analysis and reporting


Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline plus 8+ years related experience or a Master’s and 6+ years of experience.  

·         Ability to successfully complete difficult and complex assignments within the programs and portfolios supporting.   

·         Excellent communication and presentations skills needed.   

·         Strong knowledge of Leidos systems and processes including: Cost Point, Hyperion, OBI, Cognos, Fusion, LPAS, and Cost Point.  

·          Proficient in Microsoft applications; such as: Project, Excel, Power Point and Word.  

·         Must enjoy working independently, with an ability to partner effectively on team efforts and across departments.   

·         The top candidate must possess a keen attention to detail.  This is an absolute must for success in this role!  


Clearance Requirement:

Must possess a current/ in-scope TS/SCI Polygraph clearance.
