Job Description:

The Leidos Intelligence Group currently has an opening for a System Administrator to work in our St. Louis, MO office.  This is an exciting opportunity to use your technical skills helping the Information Technology Enterprise Managed Services (ITEMS) User Facing Services (UFS) mission at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).  In this mission, we provide NGA with a bridge to the future, strengthening critical ISP services to mission users, harnessing the capacity of current and emerging Intelligence Community Information Technology Enterprise (IC ITE) services, and delivering the Power of GEOINT into the hands of users supporting critical time-sensitive missions. Our team operates and sustains UFS for NGA, provide continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of UFS, implement special orders to rapidly support mission needs without disrupting daily operations and posture NGA to transition to future IC DTE service offerings.

This System Administrator serves as a member of the Infrastructure Services Enterprise Account Creation team. Support includes baseline procedures for creating network accounts and tasker response for special program account requests. Maintains SOPs, knowledge articles via Service+ and other necessary artifacts to educate customers and inform team members on process and procedures. Maintains workflow of reviewing, vetting customers, and creation of network accounts and special access account requests. Utilize tools and resources available, such as C-cure and Peoplesoft to validate customer clearance status. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor ticket queue and email for account creation requests and taskers.

  • Evaluate requests to determine whether the necessary information has been provided for processing of network accounts/special accesses requests.

  • Coordinate collection of required information necessary to obtain security approval and complete request.

  • Validate customer clearance and status in Peoplesoft based on the briefing requirements for each network or special application. (Within 24 business hours of request submission).

  • Create accounts and privilege user accounts, adhering to appropriate security protocols.

  • Candidate must be able to work independently and in a group environment.

  • Maintain appropriate level of technical competency in areas of responsibility to recommend appropriate account information. 

  • Manage day-to-day Account request and login issues

  • Oversee Troubleshooting on file transfer issues

  • Ensure the validation of user’s clearance with site security

  • Provide helpdesk support for account issues and respond to customer.

  • Participate in team collaboration for producing and enforcing policies and procedures.

  • Develop documentation such as SOPs, email templates to send to customers,

  • Candidate must have knowledge of IT concepts such as TCP/IP, IT security concepts and practices, and networks.

  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to quickly grasp and set priorities in a fast paced and highly flexible environment. 

  • Strong communications skills (verbal and written) with strong interpersonal skills

  • Manage tools and equipment, ensuring proper labeling, inventory and control

  • Ability to work with a diverse team and provide technical direction/oversight, coordinating and scheduling preventative maintenance & outages while mitigating impact to client.

  • Experience using Service+, 

  • Familiarity and experience with Active Directory and/or LDAP, and C-Cure.

  • Highly developed customer service skills and intuition

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current DoD 8570 Certification, primary certification is Security+

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance and willing to obtain a Polygraph.

  • Knowledge of Windows Server 2012R2 and 2016 

  • Must be able and willing to work flexible shifts as required. 

  • Must be able to communicate by phone and in person with customers and appropriate organizations.

Education & Experience:

  • Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 3 – 5 years of prior relevant experience.
