Job Description:

Leidos Enterprise & Cyber Solutions Defense team is seeking a Network Administrator/LAN-Intermediate to work in Sierra Vista, Arizona at Fort Huachuca. This position will support the RCC-CONUS, which provides a cutting-edge technology environment. An active Secret clearance is required.


What will you do in this role?

  • Work effectively within a team environment, troubleshooting and support of networking related issues

  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external users

  • Implement the necessary tools to proactively troubleshoot and when necessary, assist and provide support to third parties to solve network connectivity problems

  • Manage installations of products and resources to meet the needs and requirements of our WAN and LAN network-based services

  • Optimize the availability of network systems architectures to deliver cost-effective improvements that in turn deliver tangible business benefits

  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.

  • Deal with pressure and conflict decisively and effectively

  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation in support of the RCC-C mission

  • Travel as required in support of COOP scenarios

These are the required qualifications for the role...

  • High School Diploma and four (4) years' related experience, Associate Degree and two (2) years or Bachelor's Degree with no additional years of experience.

  • Must hold a current Department of Defense 8570 IAT II certification (One of the following: GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP)

  • Must be able to successfully obtain Network+ (or higher) within 180 days (CCNA preferred)

  • Must hold a current DoD Secret Clearance
