The Leidos Intelligence Group has an opening for a Group Digital Modernization Capability Lead located in Reston, VA.
Position Summary:
The Group Digital Modernization Capability Lead will lead Intelligence Group digital modernization and cloud technical innovation to bring differentiated capabilities to customers through captures and programs.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive growth across the Group through delivery of differentiated digital modernization and cloud capabilities to captures and programs
• Solve complex digital modernization and cloud challenges by leveraging internal and external expertise
• Enhance recognition of Leidos as a ‘Digital Modernization and Cloud Thought Leader’ across the Intel Group customers
• Advance overall Group digital modernization and cloud maturity by ensuring technology sharing across Operations
• Actively participate in the definition and execution of corporate and Group technology strategies and roadmaps
• Define digital modernization and cloud capability development needs and coordinate execution with Group Operation CTOs
• Spend an estimated 50% of time directly supporting key digital modernization and cloud captures and programs to ensure delivery of differentiated capabilities
• Identify and grow group digital modernization and cloud talent by attracting new talent for line and CTO positions
• Meet with current and potential customers to demonstrate the company's digital modernization and cloud credentials at solving hard, mission focused challenges
• Serve as a main stakeholder for Digital Modernization Accelerator projects ensuring Group requirements are represented in accelerator technology plans and accelerator capabilities are leveraged by Group captures and programs
• Drive Group digital modernization and cloud external technology engagement, working with the corporate External Technology Lead and Group Operation CTOs to best leverage all sources of technology for the Group including: universities, commercial partners, CRAD, IRAD, M&A, etc.
• Collaborate across Groups to maximize effectiveness of digital modernization and cloud investments and capabilities
Basic Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in a Science, Engineering, or Technology field
• Recognized digital modernization and cloud expert with 15-20 year experience in the definition, architecture, design, and development of complex IT capabilities
• Proven results winning new digital modernization and cloud business, and/or fixing digital modernization and cloud related program challenges
• Ability to develop, manage, and implement a technology roadmap and portfolio
• Strong oral and written communication skills, along with public speaking skills
• Ability to influence and persuade others, as well as handle difficult negotiations requiring a well-developed sense of strategy
• Ability to mentor, lead, and promote talent
Pay Range:
Pay Range $210,000.00 - $280,000.00 - $350,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
