Job Description:

Responsible for the technical quality and support of each product throughout its life cycle. Ensures field personnel are fully equipped and prepared to deliver best in class service through the propagation of technical knowledge and data.  Develops and implements best practices and standards throughout Services and provides a solutions based feedback loop to other functions.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leads technical teams to achieve specific objectives that will result in a “best in class” industry designation
  • Establish and oversee services life cycle sustainment strategy
  • Work directly with Engineering and Product Management to successfully test and qualify products
  • Manages quality & ISO process for Services
  • Support the field with product technical support
  • Develop, refine and revise technical documentation to a high standard
  • Produce innovative results-based technical training offerings
  • Principle owner of equipment reliability improvements
  • Work with Sustaining Engineering on upgrades and life extensions
  • Provide technical escalation support to customers
  • Execute continual process improvements that meet QA guidelines
  • Work cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Compliance to ensure industry leading service for the end customer

Specific Qualifications and Requirements

Required:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience with supporting technical/engineering services
  • Minimum of 8 years working with OEM product life cycle programs
  • Working knowledge of ECO processes
  • Must have ability to collaborate across functions to form strong relationships
  • Comfortable working in a matrix reporting environment and supporting numerous individuals across the Services organization
  • Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and ability to thrive in same
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills (Financial applications, data compilation and aggregation)
  • Strong written skills with proven ability to write business documentation
  • Subject matter expert on service CMMS systems

Desired:

  • Lean experience / Six Sigma certified
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems strongly desired

Location: US Based: Remote--  Must be able to travel up to 30%

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
