We are in search of Windows Server Administrator to join our team in Woodlawn Maryland. This opening will support the contracts at the Social Security Administration.

The candidate will be collocated with the SSA government employees and subcontractors at a government facility in Baltimore, Maryland.

General requirements for role:

  • Will need excellent client customer communication and diagnostic skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of SQL
  • SharePoint experience
  • Detail oriented working style
  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Software Installation experience
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Efficient in Windows and Mac operating systems
  • Self-motivated and self-disciplined

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Use knowledge of Active Directory domain services such as creating users, groups, organization units (OUs) and permissions
  • Develop and promote standard operating procedures
  • Conduct routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configurations guidelines
  • Excellent customer service in providing quality service, on time delivery and productivity
  • Responsive to internal or external customer needs with sense of urgency

Required Skills

  • Installed, configured, and support image capture hardware and software.
  • Track and resolve issues via CAPRS ticket system
  • Modified command language programs, network start-up files and network devices
  • Analyzed client LAN/WAN isolate source of problems
  • Remotely and internally monitored multiple systems nationwide for network utilization.
  • Work with customers and operations staff in scheduling preventative and emergency maintenance
  • Modified command language programs, network start-up files and network devices
  • Developed and configured backup management and Disaster recovery for multiple infrastructures
  • Remotely and internally monitored multiple systems nationwide for network utilization
  • Provided stakeholders both on-site and remote support with their network devices
  • Provided users with training documentation on new software updates
  • Provided live presentations and demos for end users for upgraded software applications

Education & Qualifications

•            Leidos - Bachelor’s Degree with 2 to 4 years of experience.

•            Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

COVID Response
